The tea had gone cold.

Edmund had left the room after he told me everything. He needed me to break the curse but how do I do that?

I sat there, staring at the cup in my hand, but my thoughts were far from the warmth of lavender and mint. Edmund’s words echoed in my head, repeating themselves over and over like a broken record.

He goes through excruciating pain because his wolf is dormant… he has to bear the pain of transformation without changing fully.
