The mist closed around us instantly, cool and damp, clinging to my skin. My breath sounded too loud in my own ears, and the world beyond vanished. There was no sky, no ground, just the shifting silver all around.

And then, as suddenly as it had appeared, it cleared.

Before us lay a small meadow bathed in light. In the center, on a patch of green, stood Lily's Bloom.

It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The petals shimmered with every shade between white and gold, like sunlight caught in a flower.

We stood there for a long moment, just staring.
