Alice's eyes fluttered open, slowly, she brought her hands to cover her eyes immediately, because the light invading the room was too bright.

 A  groan escaped her mouth, as she tossed on the bed. Her hands flew to her forehead and she clenched it. Her whole head felt like it was being split apart. 

She got up slowly trying to remember what had happened at Dinner and how she got back into the room. Alice turned to see the other side of the bed.

She was all alone and Devon wasn't beside her. She tried to mind-link him, immediately. Alice was afraid that he had left her again.
