I had to take a few days' leave from work to make sure Millie was okay staying with her grandparents. I visited her every day for the last three days and monitored her recovery. I want to make sure that she really agreed to stay with her grandparents and wasn’t forced just because I asked her to and for the last three days, I saw how happy she is staying with my in-laws.

The short leave I applied for three days ended yesterday and now I need to go back to work. I went straight to work after calling Millie. She wished me good luck on going back...
