“She was just here…”

I palmed my forehead as I roamed my eyes around, searching for Selena among the few people in the hospital hallway. Uncle Charlie was in the canteen, buying some snacks for Selena and when he came back, the guards guarding Selena’s room were already unconscious on the floor.

Five days of being unable to see the world, Selena, being a brave fighter, is slowly recovering. She’s already talking to us but I know deep inside her, there’s still pain and suffering. I was actually thinking about asking Celeste to visit my cousin but now, she’s nowhere to be found.
