Tyler's POV

I woke up without Serena on the bed beside me. I immediately went to the bathroom to wash my face and went downstairs looking for Serena.

The kids are already at the dining table, eating. Mom and dad are eating with them and I couldn't find Serena around.

“Mornin’,” I kissed the kids’ forehead before I sat on the chair beside dad's.

“Mom, where's Serena?”

She looked at me with confusion. “I thought she's still sleeping?”

“No, she wasn't there when I woke up.”

“Maybe she went to work early,” dad said.

I just nodded and pulled myself up again. “I’ll just call her.”
