She turned towards me, her stunning hazel eyes fixed on mine, prompting a smile from me. I tapped the space between us, gesturing for her to sit closer to me. She seemed hesitant, and shook her head.

Rather than dwell on her reticence, I drew closer, before I pulled her closer, trying to bridge the gap between us.

An introduction seemed necessary, considering I didn't know her name, and I assumed she might not know my name, not to talk of being familiar with me, given that she hasn't stepped out of her home in my pack.
