As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the tranquil villa grounds, Charlotte and I prepared for our long-awaited date night. Our daughter was safely tucked in bed, under the watchful eye of Hazel, Fenris' mate, who had graciously offered to babysit for the evening.

"Are you sure you're comfortable leaving her?" Charlotte asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty as she glanced back at our sleeping daughter's room.

I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her close. "Hazel is more than capable," I reassured her. "And besides, we could both use a night out."
