Natalie is now sipping her tea while her dad is watching her; she then puts down the cup of tea on the table and looks at her dad. After their last conversation about not marrying Norwan, Natalie finally has a chance to talk to her dad and tell him everything that happened to her in Norwan's hand.
"What are you doing there, Dad?" Natalie suddenly asks as she remembers why her dad showering in the rain. Grego sighed, crossed his arms and legs, and leaned into his chair.
"Your friend told me your plan, and I followed you; I saw it all and heard it all," Grego said, looking earnestly at his daughter.
"I have told you not to marry him. He had no interest in you initially, yet you're the one who wanted this, and now look what happened to you." He said to Natalie, who was now looking down to the floor. If she thinks of it, her dad is correct; if she just listens to her dad, this won't happen to her now.
"I just… love him, dad. I'm sorry," Natalie said, not even looking into her dad's eye. Grego sighs and smiles bitterly at his daughter.
"If your mom was here, she would probably scold you." This time, Natalie looked at her dad and saw a little smile on his lips.
"You were right, Dad. What you said to me was all right." She said and took another sip of her tea.
"Now, tell me what really happened," Grego said, so Natalie looked at him for a second before she took another sip of tea.
"He didn't treat me right, Dad. Even his sister and mother hate me." Natalie said, so her dad's face darkened because of what she said.
"What did they do to you?" Grego asked. Natalie leaned into her chair and swallowed as she saw how dark his father's aura was at this time.
"I… I just wanted to help her and save the baby, but I worsen it all." Natalie said as she remembered how she wanted to help Cora back then, but this resulted in her miscarriage of her baby and in a conflict that caused her marriage to Norwan to be terminated.
Natalie then said all that had happened to her dad; Grego didn't like what he heard and was so angry knowing that Norwan hadn't treated his daughter right.
"I'm still hoping for our relationship to work together again, but he's the one who gives me this choice," Natalie said. Grego knows how Natalie hurts at this time. Whenever he looks at his daughter, he sees her resembling his wife. That's why he's so overprotective of Natalie, and now, knowing that Norwan's sister spread the news about Natalie pushes Cora, Grego wants to start a war between their clan and Norwan's clan.
"Let's go and teach that spoiled ex-husband of yours a lesson," Grego said. He was about to stand when Natalie stopped him and calmed him down.
"Dad, no need to do that. I have already terminated our mateship, so I am no longer bound with him, and he is no longer in my business anymore." Natalie said, so Grego examined his daughter's expression before he calmed himself and nodded.
"If that's what you want, what are your plans now?" Grego asks; Natalie looks at the fire in the fireplace and smiles bitterly.
"I have two plans but didn't know what to choose." She said and looked at her dad.
"I wanted to start a new life far away from this place, or I would take revenge for what they did to me," Natalie said, so her dad suddenly froze and looked into his daughter's eyes.
He could see how angry she was towards them but also that she was too innocent to make that revenge happen.
"She really just likes her mom," Grego said to his mind, sighing and then smiling at his daughter.
"I have a suggestion," Grego said, so Natalie looked at her dad seriously; she knew what her dad would suggest would benefit her.
"What if you try to refresh a little, far away from this city, and then when you're ready to face him, do your revenge." Her dad said she was stunned; she couldn't believe her dad was suggesting this.
"What?" She asked as if she didn't hear what her dad said, but Grego didn't repeat what he had said; instead, he poured some wine into his glass and drank it before he answered his daughter.
"It would be tough for you if you would do your revenge without even losing what you feel for him," Grego said. Natalie suddenly thinks of his words.
"If you're ready to face him and know that he's no longer welcome in your life again, go. Do you have revenge for what he did to you back then? You need to promise that you will no longer accept him again because once you do, you are just fooling yourself." Grego said, so Natalie swallowed and nodded.
"I see. I understand what you mean to say now." Natalie said. Grego just sighed in his mind and shook his head.
"I knew you very well, my princess. Your heart is soft as cotton."
"Where do you want to go now?" Grego said, so Natalie smiled as she knew how to answer his question.
"I will go to Vandak Land and stay at Grandma's place." She answered, so Grego nodded and stood up from his seat.
"Then, Call your beta to occupy you there," Grego said before he walked away from Natalie.
Natalie was left alone in front of their fireplace; she then sipped her tea again while thinking of what her father had said about his suggestions.
"Dad is right. I should start over and forget him, and then, if I'm ready, I will see him again and do my revenge." Natalie said to her mind.
The next day, Natalie woke up early as she packed her things. Chad, her beta, awaited her as he would go with her to Vandak Land.
"Are you ready now? Where's your things?" Natalie asks Chad as she notices he only has one luggage.
"It's all here," Chad said and pointed his finger to the luggage he had brought. Natalie frowns and laughs.
"Really?" Grego then came with the maids, who had Natalie's luggage.
"Well, he is not a girl, Natalie; there is a big difference between how we bring our things and how girls organize them," Grego said to her daughter. Chad laughed as he heard what Grego said while Natalie rolled her eyes.
"Madame, there's a person looking at you from the gate." A maid said that Natalie looked at her dad before she went outside to see who that person was. As she stepped out of the gate, she saw that it was Norwan's beta, and he was holding her luggage.
"My Lord, ask me to send this to you… Madame…” Trever said as he bowed down to Natalie.
