Suddenly on impulse I turn around, moving swiftly as a dagger is shot past me, I Tate in the direction which he attacks comes from. I could also hear footsteps receding from the spot.

I glare at Kaden, confused at what to think.. Did he just try to kill me or had he planned this beforehand?

"Are you inane?;" I was really pissed at his jokes.
