The atmosphere became rowdy in a moment, everything went down south soon enough.
One minute Liam and stood absolutely close to each other and the next minute a bullet was fired at .
She stood still for a while unconscious at her situation and unable to move, slowly Kaden's eyes trailed her body from her head to her side.
"Liam …" Kaden called out as Liam's eyes traveled down cece's body as well till his eyes got to the spot which stared at.
"CeCe, you are bleeding" Liam cried out in fright.
Kaden felt his feets move on their own accord, in the split of an a second he lifted her off her feets and dashed towards the car
Liam who was at first seemed to have gotten a motivation from Kaden's activities as he himself ran alongside .
Soon both were in the car with Cece's body placed in the back seat unconscious and drenched with blood.
********
"Can you please tell us what happened to him exactly?" A police officer enquired from Kaden.
On getting to the hospital, Kaden had told Liam to leave and decided to carry on the burden himself.
Liam's father was a wealthy billionaire, his son being caught up in the center of the incident meant no good for either their family or their business.
"I explained it's all a woman took my statement. I do not have the luxury to repeat things'' Kaden half yelled at the officer.
He got up to his feets prepared to leave the hospital, he had done enough for a day.
"You would be Called in for further explanations and avoid any travels as of now until the victim is able to make a statement of her own '' the officer spoke.
Kaden didn't stop in his tracks but made a mental note of how much explanation he had to do once he got home.
********
Kaden approached his uncle's room full of fright, of course he wasn't a kid and a full grown 21 year old man but notwithstanding his uncle was the only father figure he had.
He wasn't ready to screw things up nor was he ready to become alpha.
"It's Kaden, '' Kaden announced before walking into the room. He was surprised at first.
His uncle wasn't throwing tantrums, there were no piles of files,no walking around the room looking stressed neither was anyone inside,
Something was wrong and Kaden knew it but he just couldn't place a finger on the exact incident.
"Tomorrow is your coronation get ready and no arguments"
The words were shot at Kaden like daggers, he felt crippled instantly.
He was expecting his uncle to lash out at him, throw tantrums or ment out punishment but he never for once imagined the punishment to be of such magnitude.
"I can't, I'm not ready" Kaden defended himself, he wasn't ready to be alpha or so he thought.
But most of all Kaden was scared, fear was the major emotion as well as anger .
Kaden felt he was forced to take a huge leap which he never requested for, what he wanted was peace of mind and a quiet time.
He had never, not even once did he let the title of being alpha get into his head, if anything at all Kaden despised it.
Without response to his uncle's words Kaden stormed out of the pack house, he knew his uncle had made up his mind there was no room for further arguments nor complaints.
Furiously Kaden ran deeper and faster into the woods, without care he leaped into the air with a high jump causing every piece of fabric on his body to get torn.
Landing back to the ground, Kaden was on all fours, his gray wolf had emerged in his place.
Kaden had decided to let go once more, it would be his last night without worries or responsibilities he could do whatever he wanted to, however and whenever.
Without any form of restraint Kaden ran faster and harder into the woods till he felt the wind slashing against his fur.
Soon enough Kaden stood few feets away from the club house which he had being in the previous day,
He wanted to let all go so bad but immediately he felt a pang of regret hit him.
He had shifted into the air and had nothing to wear, Kaden looked through his wolf's eyes hoping to get something to wear.
Just then he caught a whiff of the scent again as he had almost forgotten about the hybrid who shot at Cece.
Although he felt it was none of his business as he hardly meddled into affairs that had nothing to do with him.
However Kaden still felt something was odd, he had no time to speak with Oliver or make enquiries as to what he was doing with at their private spot.
Just the thought of it made Kaden ache so bad that his wolf let out a slight and faint howl.
Kaden decided to play smart this time, he didn't want the hybrid to get any ounce of suspicion.
If there's one thing he was sure of it was the fact that the hybrid had got lots of confidence, the gunshity, the clubhouse and roaming around was just too much for a hybrid who stayed in a town filled with wolves.
Kaden ran all the way around the clubhouse till he was at a yard, he could see clothes hung all around, whoever owned the yard had a nice taste and must have decided to wash.
Gently Kaden approached the spot and shifted into his human form, he reached for a blue shirt and brown pants which would fit him perfectly well.
Kaden raised his eyes only to have them locked with a guy's and immediately he knew he had yet still caused another trouble In a single day.
"You saw it all?"
"What the fuck are you?"
Both spoke simultaneously.
