Graduation: we finally made it

Graduation finally arrived. I could get my brace off and off the crutches. I had a limp, but it was better than having to hop around like a gimp. Our family came up the night before so they could attend graduation.

We all hung out the night before, talking and laughing. I needed a few minutes alone with my mom and aunts.

“Is everything set?” I asked them.

“Don’t worry, Honey. We got it covered. Everyone has been working hard to make sure everything will be ready,” mom said.
