Yeah, our parents noticed we vanished and got our asses handed to us. It was worth it, though. The look on her face when I gave her the gift would be worth it.

We all worked fast, and the big day arrived for Junior and Hope. It helped when you got an enormous family to throw together a quickie wedding. The wedding was like most weddings, boring. Each person says some lovey-dovey crap, and the women cry while the men sit there trying not to fall asleep. Okay, scratch that, weddings become overpriced, over-hyped bullshit. People can brag about their “big” day.
