I awoke to the excessive ringing of my cell phone. I looked over at Ryan, and he was still asleep. I answered it, “Hello?”

It met me with an angry Elena. Alex, where are you and my idiot brother?

“We’re sleeping. Why?” I asked, feeling confused.

Did you two idiots forget we graduate today? She shouted at the other end of the phone.

“No, why?” I asked her.

Graduation starts in a half-hour!

“No, we have a few hours. We set our alarms to wake up,” I reassured Elena.

Then you must have forgotten. Check the time and get your asses here, or it’ll piss off...
