I have to say, tonight surprised me. At Kenzie’s insistence, we grilled burgers and hot dogs on deck and had a quiet meal with Carter and Hunter. Hunter didn’t stay but for a few minutes, since there’s only the two of them now, he had to be on border patrol. They weren’t entirely comfortable with both of them joining us for dinner, however Kenzie made it clear that it wasn’t an option for them not to join us.
