Right in a corner of the hall where the party was ongoing, Nina was standing with her friends, and they all had their eyes on Elsa and saw everything going on with her and Gerald.

"She's seducing him."

"I can see that. Don't you know that Elsa had always been like that? She just loves hiding under an innocent face."

Nina had earlier been called back home by Mrs Cooper when she was sure that Mr Cooper would not hurt her, though she hadn't met Collins yet and he was not present at the party.
