Elsey was unable to raise her head to meet Theophile's gaze on her. She was uncomfortable with the way he was all over her, and the way he stood like a guard at the infirmary where a nurse was administering her injured knee and ankle.

She also hated the way he carried and defended her before everyone in the hall. She knew that words would get out about her and Theophile, and the last thing she wanted was for anyone to misunderstand her relationship with her PA.

The nurse was done, and she stood up to face Theophile, "She's out of trouble...
