I got his attention immediately, I could tell as he smiled to himself, he only glanced to me when Lucifer turned to Vixen.

"I don't want this reading thing... please don't let them" I whispered in his ear, barely hitting the minimum volume for him to hear me, yet my tone was velvety and undeniably seductive. I could see his jaw clench a little, but the smile didn't disappear. Though his gaze was now on Lucifer again, I could tell he was paying attention to me, and me only.
