On the way to Anne's house, the two of us were quiet again. It's funny that going to the gym recently we almost had a rap battle and now it's like this but, whatever. And at least I'm not being plagued.

"You go first. We'll have a long time," I said when I got to the opposite side of Anne's house and she turned off the car's engine.

He turned to me seriously. "I will pick you up at your house so I will also take you home," His tone is marked with finality.
