In the lobby we were distracted. Previously, when Jared and I walked in here together, I could tell the employees would look at me. That's all there is to it. But now that his arm is around my waist, they are shamelessly staring at his hand on my waist and then looking at each other. Others are stunned at what is being done. Even the guests glanced at us.

It's like I just want to disappear like a bubble or be swallowed by the earth. I don't like the attention I get because of him. I feel like I don't deserve it.
