I paced the the hallway in the infirmary. Back and forth, I had been going. The floors should have been on fire by the time I realized how much I had been pacing. I buried my hands in my hair and looked at the doors that stood at the end of the hallway.

The doctor had forbidden me from entering the room and if I attempted it, Jake and the other people that had gone to search for Natalie with me were sitting at the other end of the hallway, waiting to grab me.
