As soon as I set foot in my pack, I dismissed Asher's guards that had come with me. "Leave me. You can go back now," I told them and turned around to walk away.

I could still feel their eyes on me, but I did not care. I did not want to have anything to do with Asher or for him to have any reason to contact me and fool me into coming to his pack again.
