I'd gotten a call, as usual, from Veklan, one of the workers from M&Cee bar, that Keona, my best friend, was drunk again.

Without thinking, I quickly left my cake and coffee shop and headed straight to the bar.

Veklan had been waiting for me out front. My main priority was getting Keona out of the bar and heading back to my shop so I'd be oblivious to the rest of my environment.
