Two days later

"Are you in there", Cassandra opened the door slightly, poking her head inside.

I didn't answer or move. I was curled up on the couch, swallowed by the dark.

Two days since I arrived. Two days since everything changed.

Cassandra pushed the door wider. "You haven't left the room since the day you arrived", she scolded "Don't you know the whole family is worried about you?"

I groaned, but didn't move.
