After traveling for three days, we finally reached the side of the mountain that was supposed to lead us straight to the temporary cave where we would spend the night before continuing our journey.

But somehow, Adrian forgot to mention that there was a huge gap we needed to cross to get to our destination.

I turned to Adrian, who was still pretending to be so focused on the map that he couldn't notice my glare.
