"Ryan! Ryan, wake up!”. I said, shaking him gently but he didn't respond.

His face was cold when I touched it. But he was still breathing... Somehow, he just wasn't waking up.

The air was filled with smoke from the incense burners scattered across the shelves and tables. Even with the door open, it was still very suffocating.

One by one, I grabbed the burners and kicked them out into the courtyard, coughing. Luckily, the heavy rain outside did the trick. The burners died as soon as they hit the ground, the smoke disappearing until the air started to clear.
