The first thing I noticed as I stepped into the Manor was the unusual quiet. The halls were empty, the attendants were nowhere to be found and the guards weren't in their usual position.

I walked carefully, taking in my surroundings, everything seemed completely normal... too perfect even. There were no signs of struggle, no broken furniture, no sign of forced entry or exit.

I sniffed the air, trying to pick up any scents that might give away what was going on. But there was nothing out of the ordinary. No smell of blood, no hint of smoke or fire. Just... silence.
