I settled in for the night, my back rested on a rough tree trunk. I couldn't help but smile as I looked up at Samantha. She was fighting to stay awake, her head nodding forward before she quickly lifted it back up again.

Her eyes flew open for a moment, she looked around, confused before they met mine. I chuckled softly and she gave me a sheepish grin, her head dropping forward again. This time, it didn't come back up.
