KIRA'S POV

I woke up to Dante clutching my hand. There was a cut on his face, and he looked tired. His eyes were sunken, with dark circles around them. 

His heartbeat sped up when he saw my eyes flutter open, and an expression of profound relief crossed his face. He wrapped his arms around me, yanking me into a hard hug. 

"Kira!" 

My bones and sore muscles protested at the treatment, and I felt nausea climb up my throat. I ignored all that in favour of hugging Dante as everything came rushing back to me.
