The ride back to the hotel was a long and quiet one but I was thankful for the silence as it helped Venita and Ariel fall asleep in my arms.

Leonard looked down at my arms. "See them sleep so soundly. It seems like they are all better now. That's a relief"

"You don't have to" Leonard disses. "I did what anyone else would have done"

"Still, I'll look for a way to pay you back" I assure him. "You have my word"
