Fear gripped me the second I saw Evie sitting there with Aurora standing opposite her. She had this serious look on her face. The one that screamed that something was going on.

But what?.

I wondered.

“Outside now!.” I ordered and stormed out of the room, slamming the door hard behind me as though it had wronged me instead.

I tried to keep my cool but ended up pacing up and down the open space. I sent her a glare the second she stepped out of the room.
