Slowly opening my eyes, I was confused to why I was staring at a white ceiling.

Where am I?. The last I thing I remember, that kid Jax and I had a duel and...I groaned loudly as I suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of my head.

Damn, had that kid hurt me?. I really shouldn't have underestimated him.

"Gary, are you awake now?" Adeline's shaky voice asks before her face could come to view.

Seeing her damp cheeks, I raised my hands up to cup her face. "I'm sorry"

"How could you go ahead and get hurt just like that, Gary?" she says in-between sobs....
