The forest was alive with the sounds of rustling leaves and distant howls, and a sense of unease hung heavy in the air.
I ran through the dense undergrowth, my heart racing, my breath coming in ragged gasps.
Behind me, the guttural snarls and heavy footfalls of a pursuing pack echoed like a haunting melody.
I could feel their presence closing in, the menacing energy of the werewolves sending shivers down my spine. I dared not look back, for the fear of seeing their monstrous forms racing after me was a terror too great to bear.
