My feelings continued to be mixed. I knew I had to maintain a professional attitude, but I couldn’t deny the confusion and confusion that was rising inside me. This relationship has become something far more complex than I ever imagined. Can I handle this? Is Logan still the same man behind his position? Or is there something else I don't know yet?

My mind continues to wrestle with all these questions, while Scarlett just looks at me with understanding. "You have to talk to Logan, Emma. There's no other way to know what he really thinks."
