Emma's POV

That night, after putting the kids to bed, I felt incredibly tired. I lay down on the bed, pulled the blanket up to my chest, and tried to close my eyes. However, even though my body felt so tired, my mind couldn't calm down. The image of Joseph, the man from my past who had now reappeared, kept bothering my mind. Fear, anger, and confusion mixed together, making my heart restless.

Finally, whether because I was too tired or because my mind was in chaos, I fell asleep and was trapped in a dream. In that dream, I went back to the past, when I first met Joseph....
