My children also came forward to give me flowers—fresh flowers that they had picked themselves from the garden. Their smiles were wide, and looks of love filled their faces. “Congratulations, Mom!” Adolf exclaimed, accompanied by applause from Adney, Ainsley, and Allonza.

Watching them hand me the bouquet, my heart was filled with love. They are the most important part of my life, and seeing them happy on this special day means so much. “Thank you, honey. You are the stars of the day!” I said, leaning down to kiss each of their foreheads.

Logan smiled at the interaction, and it seemed like his heart was filled with happiness...
