When I went home and told Logan everything, he looked worried. “What did she mean by wolf soul? Is she okay?” he asked, worry etched on his face.

“I’m not sure, Logan. Maybe she just needs some time to sort out something with herself,” I replied, trying to reassure him.

“But if it involves anything dangerous or uncomfortable, I want you to keep an eye on her,” Logan said, worrying while still lacing his words.

I nodded, understanding that he just wanted to protect everyone close to him. “I’ll make sure to support her, no matter what. She’s my best friend and my sister-in-law.”
