Don Carlos Creek, Aiden’s father had settled in the open space of the estate with his men, a bag of clubs and balls for a quick golf game with his boys when Aiden and Artemis arrived.

They stopped and watched him knock a ball into a freshly dug hole with his club, and joined his men to celebrate his pretty score.
