Marco's loud groan rented the small ward as I felt my whole body stiffen on a spot. I made to scream the hell out of my lungs, but my mouth had betrayed me, words were stuck to my throat, and my whole eyes widened in horror, glancing at how the intruder kept sending him a hard, crushing blow on his face.

"Stop!" I yelled, moving closer to them with my trembling legs. I had no idea who the intruder was because he had his back turned to me.
