A month has passed. A month of knowing that I am pregnant. A month of living under the same roof with my sister and my husband.

She has settled perfectly in the home. She is good. Glowing and growing. Seeing her this happy is all worth it.

Maybe we can work this out with our babies. This ordeal doesn't look bad anymore. Acceptance is the key, I have realised it.

I faced the mirror, tugged my shirt up, and ran my hand over my still-nonexistent belly. I am four months along now, and still there is no sign of a protruding belly.
