"Where is Meera, Raya? " I asked and when I heard no answer I gritted my teeth. "Where is my fucking wife, Raya? " I gritted out.

"Who wife? " She mumbled over the phone and I understand that she was drunk. I cut the call and raked my fingers through my hair.
