I sobbed. His words sliced through my heart. It was clear what he meant. His implication was simple , that I came in between them.

In between their dreams. I ruined her chance to have a good life. And him , I have already ruined him.

But then he should have told me beforehand. Why give me false hopes only to crush them in the end?
