‘Eric, three werewolves are blocking our way. Handle them because I can’t do anything as Grace with me.’, Zayden ordered him through the mindlink.

Those werewolves kept growling at Zayden’s car, challenging him to come outside and fight but for the first time, Zayden decided to escape rather than fighting with them. He felt someone’s hand on his arms and looked beside him to see the owner of those hands. She was shivering in fear.

“Don’t worry, sweetheart, I won’t let anything happen to you.”, He assured her but it didn’t look like she was convinced by him.
