"Elena, let's play with our prey. I can't let this jerk die so easily," Celeste suggested. Agreeing with her, the fight turned brutal. We took a few blows, strategically weakening our opponent, Rover, who began to believe he had the upper hand.

As he aimed his claw at my throat to finish me, I seized an opening and struck him so forcefully that he collapsed to the ground. Rover shook his head as he got up from the blow, fury in his eyes as he leaped at me again.
