I sit on the couch as Drake takes forever to change into another costume. Ever since his secret as a dragon shifter got out, I think he's hiding from me. Could it be possible that the Dragon narrative Drake told me about is based on actual events rather than fiction? I need to ask him. I need to know more about this magical thing surrounding me, threatening to blow my brains out.

I try to brush aside the headache that keeps reappearing whenever Silas transforms into a wolf. Could it be that my body can't cope with magic, and that's why I feel this way? I can't...
