Eric's POV

I left Sophie's apartment and went ho me. When I got home, my aunt has al ready prepared dinner for me.

"Welcome alpha“.she greeted.

I smiled at her and went straight to m y room. I took a shower and went do wnstairs for dinner. After dinner, I call ed dad, and we spoke for some time, he kept bringing up my mate issues.

I quickly ended the call and lay on my bed. I closed my eyes and thought a bout Sophie .she has been asking m e when we should get married, but Th ave been giving her excuses.

Sophie knew I was an alpha and a w erewolf. She has asked for me to change in front of her, but I always refus ed.

Next month will be Sophie's birthday and that will be the right time to ask her to marry me.

Thissed in relief and was about to sle ep when her face flash again in my m emory. I hissed in frustration and sto od up from the bed.my wolf has been restless since I met that girl. I have b een doing my best to control it, but hi s power has been suppressing me.

I left my house and ran into the wood s, my house is surrounded by a small forest, I and few wolves stays there . when I got to the woods I changed to my wolf form and found myself at e ase. I walked around the wood for ho urs before getting to my house. I shif ted back to my human form, worn my clothes, and walked home.

When I got home, I met my aunt at th e door waiting for me.

"Why are you still awake". I asked

“I saw you went out, so I decided to wait for you in case you might need a nything".she said those words while giving me a glass of water.

"You shouldn't have, I'm not a kid". It old her,

“No one said you were a kid, I'm just worried about you“,

I smiled at her and took the glass of water from her, aunt Rebecca has al ways been like this towards me.

She was the mother I knew since I lo st my mom when I was five years. I mostly live with her and dad, and she took me like her son. She was a hum an just like mom, but wasn't lucky wit h men, so she decided to stay unmar ried. She has a daughter who is sixte en years old and my favorite person i n the world.

"You are burning, are you having a fig ht with your wolf again”.aunt voice br ought me back from my thought.

“No”. I simply replied and rushed to my room, I wasn't ready for another r ound of questions from her.

I took my bath and forced myself to s leep.

The next morning was a Saturday.

I went downstairs and found aunt wa tching a movie in the sitting room.

"You are finally awake”.aunt spoke up without looking at me,

I ignored her and went to the kitchen, I took a bottle of water from the fridg e and drank all.

I ate breakfast and watch movies thr oughout the day with Aunt until she | eaves for her home. I wanted to drive her home, she insisted on driving her self.

I checked the time and saw it was alr eady past 9pm. I dressed up in a blac k suit and took my mask with me,

My driver knew where I was going an d didn't bother to ask. He drove me to the club.

We got to the club and I got out of th

e car.

“Good evening, alpha”.the security guard at the door greeted,

“I have told you countless time to ad dress me as Mr Eric in places like thi s“. I spoke in an angry tune,

"I'm sorry“.he bow his head and I wall ked in.

Immediately I got in, my wolf became restless .this feeling was strange an d new to me. I felt a familiar smell co ming from the other end of the room,

and the smell was intoxicating me. I was curious on who was smelling thi s good and wanted to find him or her.

I followed the smell, and it took me to the second bar stand the more I mo ve closer to the bar, the more the sm ell becomes stronger and the restles s my wolf becomes.

I stood in front of the bar and sat onthe chair but couldn't see anyone, the n where is the smell coming from. It hought to myself.

I was still in thought when someone r ushed out from inside

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting, I just ha d to pick something from inside, wha t should I get you”.she spoke quickly and stood before me with a smile.

The Moment I met eyes with her, I gr oaned and become restless.

“Mate”.my wolf whispered.
