ELENA'S POV;

I nearly gasped the moment he wiped my tears so gently.

I began to have mixed emotions.

Why did he do that? Why had he killed my uncle? For me?

I would never have thought, because I didn't even know my uncle was dead until now.

But all I wanted was to escape the clutches of that man.

Something I thought was a far fetched reach.

I never thought my uncle even had anything to do with a mafia man. It turned out he did.

And I don't know why the words came out of my mouth but...
