Marksman POV

Marksman was throwing some stuff into his bag when there was a knock on his front door. He’d only come home briefly to get more clothes before work. He wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible, and getting stuck chatting with someone was not on his list of things he wanted to do. It was probably Amelia. She’d been calling him and texting him nonstop, wanting to know when he was going to go after Ember and he’d been avoiding her because he didn’t have an answer for her.
