“I am so happy to see you, Bella” Lily smiled faintly as she finally opened her eyes.

I stood up from my seat and went to sit by her bedside. “Glad that you are awake” I forced some smile.

I have been with her all night, all through her time here I have not left her side. She has been here for two days now, constantly going in and out of labour.

She was weak as she had not taken anything yet except for the tiny line of drip that passed into her vein. Each is immediately replaced as soon as it is exhausted. Truly, it was not...
