“She is back, boss, and has already resumed” the auditor informed me.

“Are you sure? Is the vacation supposed to be over?” I asked.

“Yes, boss, she is supposed to have resumed” he confirmed.

I looked up from my PC for the first time since he entered my office and saw that he was standing.

“Sit, I need you to take down some notes” I directed.

He took his seat slowly and carefully as he does not want to appear too relaxed. I let him be, he can decide to get as comfortable as he desires but it was not in my place to tell him.
